　健康保険組合は、健康寿命の増進や医療費の抑制等、社会全体を活性化するための国の施策である「データヘルス計画」や「健康経営」等を推進するために、データを用いた様々な保健事業に取り組むことが求められています。PwC健康保険組合（以下「当組合」という）でも、被保険者・被扶養者のみなさまの機微な情報を従来とは違う形で取り扱う機会が増しています。多様な保健事業の実施にあたり、外部委託先も増加し、セキュリティリスクが高まっているといえます。

 

　こうした状況を考慮し、当組合では、PwC Japan有限責任監査法人 リスクアシュアランス部門の有志の協力のもと、被保険者・被扶養者のみなさまの機微な情報を外部委託先へ預託する際に、適切なセキュリティ評価を行う仕組の検討・展開に向けた取組を推進しています。

　当組合では本取組を、複数の健康保険組合が共同で行う、セキュリティ管理水準高度化のための活動のひとつと位置付けています。

To whom it may concern,

 

　In order to promote national policies such as "Data Health Plans" and "Health and Productivity Management" aimed at revitalizing society as a whole, including promoting healthy life expectancy and curbing medical costs, health insurance societies are being asked to engage in a variety of health-related projects that utilize data. At PwC Health Insurance Society (hereinafter referred as "our Society"), we are increasingly handling sensitive personal information of insured persons and dependents in ways that are different from conventional methods. In implementing a wide variety of healthcare services, the number of external outsourced parties (hereinafter referred as "third parties") is also increasing, which can be said to be increasing security risks.

　

　In consideration of this situation, our Society , with the cooperation of volunteers from the Risk Assurance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers Japan LLC, is promoting efforts to consider and deployment of the Third Party Security Check in case that we provide sensitive personal information of insured persons and dependents to the third parties.
